Our Mom's French Toast with Warm Maple Syrup

This is a simple but great and tasty recipe Our Mom's French Toast. She usually made this on a Sunday Morning then I started making it on Christmas Morning. Either way it is extremely tasty.

You will need!

Old thick bread a couple of days old
2 jumbo eggs
Vermont Maple Syrup
1 cup of Heavy Whipping Cream
1 tbs if Cinnamon
1tbs of vanilla
Sugar to sprinkle or powder sugar


Mix eggs and whipping cream together
add Cinnamon and Vanilla
place on a greased frying pan on med low heat and let brown on both side
take Maple syrup and heat over stove in can or bottle in a pan of water make sure bottle is open and do not let it boil
Place toast in a serving dish and dust with sugar or powder sugar and place a pad of real butter in between toast. Enjoy!
