My Recipe for Chicken Cacciatore!

My Recipe
calls for

1 small pkg of Chicken Drumstick and Thighs
1 medium jar of sweet red peppers.
6 Italian Sausage.
1 small red onion.
1 small package of mushrooms. ( optional)
2 lg cans of whole tomatoes or 8 lg fresh tomatoes
1 small can of Tomato Paste.(optional if wanting a tick base)
8 cloves of garlic chopped
1 small handful of fresh chopped basil
1 small handful of chopped parsley
2 tbs of sugar.
1 ts of black pepper.
1/4 cup of olive oil.
1 1/2 cup of flour
1 cup of dry white wine
1 egg
1/4 cup of whole milk

Clean and wash chicken. place in milk and egg batter coat.
Mix flour with all of your spices add more spices if you want more of a rich flavor dip coated chicken in flour and set on a deep cookie sheet and place in a oven until blistered and brown then remove.
take your tomatoes and onion and mushrooms cook until it starts to make a thick sauce you can add the tomatoes past of you like and sugar. once a thick sauce add chicken cover and let cook stir occasional cook about 1 hour or until done

Serve over pasta, rice or Italian Potatoes

It is wonderful add as many fresh veggies as you want but I added a can of tomatoes past to add some texture I made it last night and we have leftovers for tonight
