My Recipe for a Perfect Roast Beef

Sometime a perfect Roast Beef can be a nightmare to make but I have perfected a recipe that is easy and very tasty try this and I am sure you are going to love it

You will need:

4lbs of top choice top round roast beef ask your butcher the appropriate cut of beef to make roast beef I always do this will give you the right and good choice of a roast

a good roasting pan with a rack
meat thermometer
1tbs of course pepper
a handful of course sea salt
2tbs of Italian bread crumbs
1tbs of garlic powder
1tbs of olive oil

Directions:

pre heat oven to 475
take roast out of the refrigerator and let set to room temp
once at room temp rub olive oil all over roast
then place all of your spices on a large plate and roll the roast
making sure that it is covered completely
place meat thermometer in center of roast then place in the
center of your oven roast at 475 for at least 30 min or a tad longer to get a crust
then turn oven down to 350 and allow to roast until temperature reads 120
remove from oven and allow to set for at least 20  min you will see that the
temp will rise even after removing from the oven this is why you remove at 120 as you do not want your roast to be well done

Roast will be rare in center if your guest want a well done or med rare take 2 beef bouillon cubes
dissolve in water and salta your slice of roast beef no more then a min 30 sec on both sides this allows for the tenderness as well as the texture of the beef

once sliced you may serve with your favorite side dish... This recipe of mine is wonderful and a true delite to serve for any family dinner or guest I hope you will try it and ENJOY!

Always
Lydia
